At Linder & Tanguy translation agency, we use translation memory tools (TM or CAT tools from SDL Trados) for all our translation projects to ensure the best quality, terminology consistency and coherence of your texts. Translation memories store your translations in a translation database which can be reused in future projects – so the same sentence is never translated twice! The result? Active terminology management is an important part of our translation process. On request, and in close cooperation with you, we can create terminology databases for your company from both older documents and ongoing projects. These databases contain technical terms in the respective working languages as well as definitions, instructions for use, and abbreviations. This is the only way to guarantee that company-specific terms are translated uniformly and that the translations are of a consistently high quality. This ultimately saves you time and money.
